This Friday the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department will bring the beautiful Hawaiian Islands to the North Shore Park and Youth Center. The “Loco Luau” will begin at 6 p.m. with 90 minutes of fun filled “Hawaiian Style” events.

Thirty years after South Beach was awarded Historic District status, two North Beach districts have also received the national recognition. The Normandy Isle and North Shore Neighborhoods are placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
