City of Miami Beach Celebrates Halloween

The City of Miami Beach has prepared a series of SPOOKtacular events for Halloween that are family friendly and located at some great local parks in North Beach. The weekend of fun kicks off on Friday, October 30th at North Shore Park with a movie and haunted house and picks up again on Saturday, October 31 with a scary carnival. Additionally, the City of Miami Beach Fire Department will have photo opportunities available at a variety of fire stations throughout Miami Beach, which includes North Beach stations.
“These Halloween events bring the community together while enhancing the family experience. We continue to bring entertainment options to North Beach,” stated Office of Communications Director, Nannette Rodriguez.
“My nieces and nephews are coming up to North Beach for the first time to trick or treat here,” said North Beach resident Danielle Pinder. “Looking forward to taking them Rakow Youth Center for their carnival.”

6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
WHERE: North Shore Park

WHAT A safe night of fright featuring a movie in the park, haunted house ($2), food trucks and fun; and new this year, “Trunk or Treat” for the young children. Free admission with refreshments for sale.

4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
WHERE: Scott Rakow Youth Center
2700 Sheridan Avenue, Miami Beach
WHAT Carnival games, treats, costumes, tot street; and new this year, “The Maze of Illusions” for older children and “Trunk or Treat” for the younger children. Wristbands for rides and carnival games $5 (cash). Free admission, refreshments for sale.
