It’s almost time to proudly flaunt your red, white and blue! No Fourth of July plans yet? No worries! The City of Miami Beach has got you covered.

Head over to the North Beach Bandshell located at 7275 Collins Ave for a full day of festivities.

11:00 AM:      Food Trucks
12:00 PM:      DJ
5:00 PM:       Family Stone
7:30 PM:       Grand Funk Railroad
9:00 PM:       Fireworks

The day will start bright and early, with a complimentary yoga class at 9 in the morning, led by the instructors from Green Monkey Miami Beach. Getting in a good stretch at the start of the day sounds like a perfect idea, especially seeing the lineup for the rest of the afternoon.

No guest will go hungry, given the delicious food trucks that are scheduled to set up camp at the Bandshell. Craving a good burger? Latin Burger may be the choice for you. Their zesty twists on all-American classics are a cult favorite. Try The Beast, a burger patty topped with BBQ beef, caramelized onions, cheese and roasted pimento mayo. Craving a vegetarian option? The portabella mushroom burger has your name on it! Fries are a must but make sure to leave room for dessert; the brownie a la mode can’t be missed.

Seafood more your thing? Mobstah Lobstah will be dishing up their addictive lobster rolls. Go all out and order the BLT-style roll, served with thick-cut bacon, lemon butter and cherry tomatoes. Shrimp tacos, classic fish and chips and crab cakes are also offered on the menu, but the shining star is the lobster mac and cheese. Mmm!

After you’ve dined, you can shake and shimmy to tunes from The Family Stone and Grand Funk Railroad.

Founded by Rock & Roll Hall of fame inductees, and R&B Pioneer Award Winners Jerry Martini, Cynthia Robinson, and Greg Errico, The Family Stone is a the First inter-racial and inter-gender band in rock & roll history. The spread the roots of funk while touring the world and have performed all over North America, Europe and Australia.

Popular in the 1970’s Grand Funk Railroad took it’s name from a railroad line that ran through the band’s home town of Owosso, Michigan. Known for their classic, American rock, we couldn’t think of a more fitting band for a Fourth of July party!

No Fourth of July would be complete without fireworks. Find your favorite spot on the grass or beach and cozy up while the sky lights up in celebration of America!

This full day event is perfect for the whole family. However you choose to celebrate our independence, we wish you a safe and happy holiday!
