Hop on Over to North Shore Park’s Spring “Eggstravaganza”!

Miami Beach, FL – The City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation cordially invites children and adults of all ages to kick off the spring season with a day filled with food, fun, music, rides and of course…eggs. The Spring Eggstravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the lawn located at North Shore Park (501 72nd Street) from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Children 10 years and younger are invited to participate in the annual egg hunt that will take place at 11 a.m.  Mr. & Mrs. Bunny will make a special visit as they hop around the lawn handing out treats and taking pictures with everyone. Face painting, arts and crafts, games, music, food, refreshments and prizes are some of the many activities in store throughout the event.

In addition, the City’s Arbor Day Celebration will again be incorporated at this year’s event. There will be a tree planting ceremony along with a reading of the City’s Arbor Day proclamation, informational pamphlets, coloring books and certified arborists to answer your tree questions.

So, be a part of the festivities and don’t forget to bring your basket as we’re sure you’ll have an “egg-cellent” time!
