There was no lack of interest or attendance for the anticipated opening of the brand new flagship Publix located at 6876 Collins Ave. This 54,000 sqft store is something North Beach residents should be proud to have in their community, featuring all the bells and whistle you would expect from a new Publix store including a cafe, liquor store, pharmacy and a huge Greenwise section that will make any yogi happy. When you stop by this week, make sure to not only enjoy the practicality of the facility but also take a moment to appreciate the architecturally significance of the building. It reflects and plays tribute to the high design standards of our community.
A big thank you to the Publix corporation for bringing us this store and for listening to the requests by the community in its design and product offerings. It’s nothing short of beautiful and will be greatly enjoyed by all residents. The economic impact for the 186 employees that work there is nice too.

Love the throwback to the old Publix logo! Just wish I could reap the benefit of the store as I spent many hours along with my neighbors rooting for Publix at commission meetings! Moved to the Keys a year ago but still enjoy hearing the great things of North Beach! Thank you!!!

I don’t know how all the smaller businesses are going to survive with that monster there… Rents are already high on the beach and Publix is offering everything under the sun.I will support my local smaller mom and pops … will you guys do the same??
