New Projects Usher in Rebirth for Bandshell District
Good things are finally happening for our beloved Bandshell District with the introduction of the proposed park plan. A community meeting to review the plan will take place Thursday at the North Shore Youth Center.

The best Modern World Music returns to the open air amphitheater at North Beach Bandshell. The Heineken Transatlantic Festival kicks off this Friday, brought to us by the Rhythm Foundation. Featuring: Bomba Estereo (Bogota Colombia) & Orquestra Contemporanea de Olinda (Recife Brazil).
Shake, Rattle and Roll at MiMo Dance Party
The Festival of the Arts extends into the evening hours on Saturday at the North Beach Band Shell with the MiMo Dance Party. The party will feature musical hits from the 1945 to 1965, the twenty-year period that saw the rapid expansion of Miami Beach and the emergence of the distinctive mid-century architecture that distinguishes the streets of North Beach from the Deco-inspired counterparts in South Beach. The big mid and North Beach hotels were renowned for glamorous venues that hosted top-tier talent to entertain vacationers and locals alike.
