There was no lack of interest or attendance for the anticipated opening of the brand new flagship Publix located at 6876 Collins Ave. The 54,000 sqft store is something North Beach residents should be proud to have in their community, featuring all the bells and whistle you would expect from a new Publix store including a cafe, liquor store, pharmacy and a huge Greenwise section.

Starting Tuesday, January 17, and for the next two weeks, the contractor for the North Shore Neighborhood Improvements will begin reconstructing the crosswalks along the east side of Dickens Avenue at 78 Street. Normandy Isle Residents Seek Relief from Parking Shortage
Residents on Bay Drive West are up in arms about the reduction of parking as a result of the CIP improvements to their neighborhood. The city is hosting a community meeting this Thursday, October 7th at 6:00 PM to discuss residents’ concerns. Representatives from various city departments including CIP, Public Works, Parking, Planning and Transportation will be on hand to answer and address resident concerns. Your participation and attendance is essential as the city seeks residents’ input.
