The Rhythm Foundation will offer a FREE concert for residents this Saturday at the North Beach Bandshell featuring Italian superstar, Caparezza.

“Unexpected sounds from Italy” is Italian HIT Week, an annual series of top jazz, pop and fusion artists.  With a goal to showcase to the world that Italian music is more than Mafia movie soundtracks and mandolin, fresh Italian artists visit the US.  This is the 4th edition of this series, which has introduced Miami fans to Italian legends like Subsonica, Negrita, Mannarino, Canzonieri Grecanico Salentino, Nicola Conte and others.

Headline artist Caparezza has a unique sound that mixes hip hop with a dose of his hero Frank Zappa and the theatricality of opera.  Heavy beats, crazy costumes, innovative wordplay that transcend language and one of Italy’s most engaging musical stars.  The night also features young Italian group Kutso, Italian DJ and of course some Italian cuisine and wine to sample and enjoy.
